The
Ultimate, Animated Guide to the Climate Debate Chapter
5 'Climate Pasta Machines'
The early 2000s saw the boldest attempts yet to forward a narrative of
catastrophic climate change.
The
crafty UN kept moving along with its attempts to legally curb emissions
& create a low-carbon economy, with the World Bank all too ready to
assist.
Al Gore's slick presentation misinformed an
entire generation about climate change. Tapping into the mainstream, it
affected public sentiment like nothing had else done previously.
This is a review for the thinking mind; one that you will not find on
Rotten Tomatoes 🍅
The IPCC lost all pretence of caution, and began grasping at whatever
it could to try to show humans were influencing the climate.
Pruning, mixing & switching between data sets (some of which had issues), as well as using studies tending to extremes.
The Climategate saga exposed a clique of high-profile scientists trying
to manipulate the peer-review process.
But it was merely a speed bump...
Climate catastrophism was now a runaway train with governments, popular
science, the public & economic markets all in tow, feeding off each
other.
The only way it could stop now would be to crash.
This is the 5th chapter in an evolving, animated series. The style is
simple, but effective, supporting a narrative that has been expertly
prepared and weaved together to cut straight to the heart of the
climate debate, past all the fuzzy-talking points that now characterise
it.

4 'The Governance of Climate'
The 90s was a time when the tentacles of climate governance reached out
around the nations of the world and started to squeeze.
It is all there: Mann and his Hockey Stick; the Earth Summit in
Rio De Janeiro; the Kyoto Protocol; the IPCC reports; the annual
conferences of parties; carbon sinks; and much more.
This will be the meat and potatoes for those looking to understand the
series of formative events that directly set up the climate policies
that we see in effect today.

climate debate, past all the fuzzy-talking points that now characterise
it.

3 'The Sky is Falling In'
The late 70s and 80s saw fears about global warming grow. What was
fuelling this? And how did we move so quickly from handfuls of
concerned scientists to the establishment of an intergovernmental
climate body!
The climate train was well and truly in motion by the end of the 80s,
but had it left the track?

2 'Climate Science, A Time of Transition'
The world certainly was a difference place after World War 2. But just
how important was this time in transforming the face of climate
science? Why did these changes go hand-in-hand in allowing attempts to
address humanitarian concerns worldwide? And where was the spectre of
CO2 looming throughout of all this?
This was a formative period for climate science as it got up from its
hands and knees, and started to walk. But, was it walking in the right
direction?...

climate debate, past all the fuzzy-talking points that now characterise
it.

1: 'The Pioneers of Climate Science'
Just
who were some of the early climate science pioneers? And what ideas did
they have about the nature of CO2 and its role in the climate? How have
they shaped how we view climate science today?
This
is the first chapter in an evolving, animated series. The style is
simple, but effective, supporting a narrative that has been expertly
prepared and weaved together to cut straight to the heart of the
climate debate, past all the fuzzy-talking points that now characterise
it.
Dr Howard Brady talks climate science with
H. Sterling Burnett, The Heartland Institute
An in-depth discussion of the key issues in the
climate debate & frank exposé of the catastrophic exaggerations we
keep getting told.
We take a look at the role of the Sun; sea level rise; storms and
extreme weather; the climate models; the vastness of the climate
system; renewable energy; and climate alarmism.
Dr Howard Brady with Leighton Smith,
NewsTalk ZB, New Zealand
Dr Brady
speaks with Leighton Smith
(NewsTalk ZB). Leighton is one of the leading voices
on the New Zealand airwaves speaking out against the anti-climate
alarmists.
Should the New Zealand Government establish a Climate Commission with
the end goal of creating a carbon neutral economy by 2050, which would
involve the cessation of gas and coal use, it will be an utter
disaster. The climate will not change one iota, your electricity prices
go through the roof, and youth unemployment will spike. Aired 19th
December 2017.
Leighton Smith, NewsTalkZB Radio, on
Mirrors
& Mazes: A guide through the climate debate
To you New Zealanders out there across the Tasman
Sea, Leighton Smith, News-Talk-ZB radio broadcaster, has just
recommended the Mirrors & Mazes climate guide & announced its
backing by leading US scientists.Aired 12th
December 2017.
Leading US scientists back the 'Mirrors
& Mazes climate guide', Chris Smith Afternoon Show, 2GB
Chris Smith, 2GB, announces that two leading USA
scientists (one who has advised Trump) have just recommended the
little-known 'Mirrors & Mazes' book for its remarkable ability to
show everyday people, not just scientists, the wonder of the climate
system and how carbon dioxide is NOT driving modern climate change.
The accolades are from world famous physicist, Emeritus Professor
William Happer and Dr Willie Soon, Senior Researcher,
Harvard-Smithsonian Centre for Astrophysics. Aired 28th
November 2017.
Dr Howard Brady with Chris Smith, 2GB,
aired 8 June 2017 Dr
Brady catches up with Chris Smith to chat about all the recent climate
news, from Trump's decision to exit the US from the Paris Climate
Agreement, to the excellent article Clive James wrote in the Weekend
Australian, savaging climate change alarmism. Chris should be commended
for his dogged attention to helping expose what should be the biggest
non-issue of our time. Aired 8th June 2017.

Dr
Howard Brady returns to The Chris Smith Show to talk more with Chris
about the climate debate, take questions from listeners and take a
closer look at the scandal about how dodgy satellites are giving false
sea level readings. Aired 15th February 2017.
Dr Brady with George & Paul, 2UE
Talking Lifestyle
Paul
& George (2UE 954AM - Talking Lifestyle) chat to Dr Howard Brady
about a so called ‘landmark’ scientific paper released just before the
Paris Climate Conference.
This paper claimed there has been no slow down (that is pause or
hiatus) in global temperatures over the last decade (2000-2012).
Dr Brady and Paul & George examined claims by whistle-blower, Dr
John Bates (a top NOAA scientist), that the paper was biased with a
dodgy treatment of data and rushed out to influence World Leaders
before they met in Paris for the climate meeting. Aired 11th February
2017.
Dr Howard Brady with Chris Smith, Alan

Dr Howard Brady's team (Mirrors and Mazes)
respond to Media Watch
In
2017, ABC News continue to fearmonger catastrophic sea level rise
predictions through selective reporting. Their show, Media Watch, ran
an infamous segment 6 years ago, using the very same narrative, and
discredited a number of people who dared question this doomsday story.
Well, here, the Mirrors and Mazes team examine that segment and look at
where sea level is at today.
#EvilsofSimpleClimateEnthusiasm
Powerful video showing how simple ideas with the best intentions have
led to some of the worst outcomes throughout history.
The panic by climate catastrophists is no different. Tending to
extremes, their enthusiasm and emotion is clouding reason and science,
and the influence of religion is being easily misused.
We are being told of record world temperatures
due to man-made global warming. Is it truly the hottest time in human
existence?
Thermometers paint a picture of world temperature for over the last 150
years, but what do fossils and ice-cores tell us about the last 10,000?
How were Germans growing olives on the Rhine river 2000 years ago? What
were temperate oak forests doing in the middle of Norway and Sweden
8000 years ago? When did the Vikings have cattle stamping around
Greenland? Who was the King whose army galloped across the Baltic Sea
to invade Denmark?
And has temperature really been dancing in step with rocketing carbon
dioxide increases? Or is there something else going on?
Faulty satellite used to predict
catastrophic sea level rise
Over
70% of the world's population live near coastlines or rivers affected
by the sea. We are being told that sea level rise will rise up to 1 to
5 metres in the 21st century! But where do these statements come from
and what are they based on? Is sea level really accelerating or rising
at a steady rate? What systems are being used to make these
measurements, and how do they differ? Told by Dr Howard Brady, Alumnus
Scientist of the Year, Northern Illinois University, and who undertook
four expeditions to Antarctica with the US Office of Polar Programs.
Scientists
parade their computer models that come with all the bells and whistles
and supposedly predict the climate. But how good are they really?
How long have civilisations been using models and how were they tweaked
over time? Is it true those by the Ancient Greeks were still being
tuned in the Middle Ages? And, more recently, who ran the first climate
model on a computer, which had only half a meg of RAM and took 30 days
to run the program!
How are modern climate models actually made? Would a detailed climate
model really take longer than the age of the earth to run on the
world's fastest super-computer? Is there enough information about the
patterns of longer and larger natural cycles affecting the climate,
such as sunspots, to be able to incorporate them into the models? And
what is the dilemma that clouds pose for modellers?
What's the IPCC's view of the use of models and their limitations for
predicting the climate? Do they practise what they preach? And what is
the difference between predictions and projections!
Is an obsession with technology replacing good science? Do the models
justify spending millions of dollars on infant energy technologies and
restricting the economies of developing countries?
Or...are we really just dealing with children playing with mere toys?
LESS storms, MORE havoc, due to rising
population densities
We
are being told storms are becoming more violent and more frequent. But
what were the great storms of the past like? What do weather records
indicate about storm frequency and intensity? Are rising population
densities simply more prone to losses of life and infrastructure
damage?
How
good is a religious organisation at getting scientific advice? And how
does it get scientific advice? Here we look at the the Catholic Church
and the Pope, the figurehead for over one billion Catholics. The Pope
is being advised by Hans Joachim Schellnhuber (Potsdam Institute for
Climate Impact Research) who is telling him that the world is warming
catastrophically. But is the Pope really getting the best advice about
climate change?
We
are being told temperatures are set to skyrocket, seas to rise
catastrophically and to brace for severe storms. But are these climate
forecasts solely just the creation of their prophets? What exactly did
they inject into their models for them to look like this? Well, here we
have a very good look at Frankenstein's monster.
This is a recording and accompanying slideshow of Dr Howard Brady's
talk, 'Climate on Steroids', from one of his presentations.
Is Carbon Dioxide really in the
driver's seat?(Slideshow Talk)
We
are told that Carbon Dioxide is the Champion Greenhouse Gas. That it is
the one that drives temperature, causing it to rise. But does it meet
the hype? What other contenders are out there? What gas is the true
'King of the Ring'?
Well, here we look at figures from
history who have contributed to the career of carbon dioxide, from the
19th Century's Svante Arrhenius to James Hansen, and how it was put on
this pedestal. And then we look at those who discovered and backed the
true, undefeated champ.

slideshow of Dr Howard Brady's talk, 'Is Carbon Dioxide really in the
Driving Seat?', from one of his presentations.
50 Million Shades of Climate Change
(Slideshow Talk)
If
a climate optometrist gave us climate glasses for various periods going
back in time, it is amazing how we would interpret, or perhaps
reinterpret, climate history.
Here we go on a journey to look
at climate over the ages and also the climate cycles that are operating
at different timespans and varying areas of space.
